Fichtelberg ski area (25-minute drive, approx. 19 km)
At 1,215 meters, the Fichtelberg is the highest mountain in Saxony and is part of the popular health resort of Oberwiesenthal. You can look forward to modern lifts, varied slopes for beginners and experts and a fantastic winter backdrop. Cross-country skiers also get their money's worth thanks to the numerous trails. Afterwards, the cozy huts and cafés invite you to enjoy a hearty snack.
Boží Dar (30-minute drive, approx. 23 km)
This idyllic ski resort in the neighboring Czech Republic is one of the oldest winter sports centers in Europe. With its wide, well-groomed pistes and family-friendly facilities, it is ideal for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Cross-country skiers can look forward to an extensive network of trails, while children can have fun in the ski kindergarten.
Klínovec (30-minute drive, approx. 19 km)
The highest mountain in the Ore Mountains boasts over 30 kilometers of varied slopes - from relaxed beginner slopes to challenging runs for professionals. Modern lifts, a snow park and a generous après-ski offer make Klínovec a real highlight for winter sports fans.
Crottendorf ski lift (5-minute drive)
The small Crottendorf ski lift is just a stone's throw from our hotel. It is perfect for beginners and families who want to practise their first turns in a quiet environment. The proximity to the hotel allows spontaneous trips to the slopes, even for short afternoon ski lessons.

Professional ski instructors are on hand to help you improve your technique or introduce you to the world of skiing. You can conveniently book ski passes, ski lessons and high-quality ski equipment through our hotel. Our practical shuttle service to the ski resorts is available on request (for an additional fee and subject to availability).
